The 16th heaviest snowstorm a record that dates back to 1869, New York Central park totaled out to 17.2 inches of snowfall. The Storm slammed New Jersey with the highest total of 32 inches. Winds reached 45mph during this nor’easter. New Yorkers in every borough woke up to piles of snow and many had much digging to do to get their cars out this morning.
Credit to the MTA for having train tracks cleared in order to resume travel early Tuesday morning and the Department of Sanitation for the management of this storm.
